A proper headshot is a close-up image from the shoulders up that focuses on the face. Headshots should tell a story while conveying confidence and approachability. Hands, arms, or products should never be present in a headshot.
Branding sessions include a mix of full-body & medium-cropped portraits of you working in your element along with headshots to give you a range of images for your brand.
Sure you are! Most people just have a hard time feeling relaxed in front of the camera. That’s where I come in with professional coaching & direction to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. If the expression looks fake, I delete it. I only keep genuine expressions that represent you. I’ll coach you to a great headshot during the session. So just let go and enjoy the process.
Like a personal trainer, it’s much easier to reach a goal with someone pushing you. Headshot coaching is the same way. It’s a unique approach that I use to help clients feel comfortable while I pull specific expressions out of them during their sessions. I don’t count to 3, say cheese, or even ask you to smile during a headshot session. I’ve dedicated many years solely to headshot photography and it makes all the difference between an okay shot and a great one.
No. We usually shoot headshots on white, gray, or black backdrops. If your company has a specific color requirement or needs to match other headshots, just let us know. Our personal branding sessions can be shot on a solid color backdrop, in your office, or even outside (weather permitting).
Our current rates are available on the main menu of our website or by clicking here. Rates include editing and commercial use licensing. Returning clients receive 20% off their session fee.
Absolutely! Just let us know during your shoot that you’d like to take a passport photo and we’ll handle the rest.
Yes! Just let us know during your shoot that you’ll be using your headshot for your ERAS Residency and we’ll take care of the rest.

A commercial use license is a contract in which the photographer grants specific rights to the client who wants to use an image(s) for business purposes for a specific amount of time. The client can then use the photos in a specific way outlined in the agreement.
Anyone who wants to use an image(s) for business purposes and/or profit. If you plan on using the images to brand, market, promote, and/or sell a product or service, a commercial use license will protect you from future legal battles.
Our headshot & portrait packages include a commercial use license for a select number of images within the package. Additional licenses and/or extended licenses can be negotiated.
RAW files are the original resolution files captured in the camera prior to any editing, adjustments or compression for the image files. RAW files also allow the editing of certain aspects of an image after the image has been captured.
Craft service refers to the food, snacks, and refreshments available to those on set. Craft services are different than catering; catering is provided by a catering company or a restaurant and refers to full meals.
